Hydraulic Hybrid.

this sounds pretty interesting. as it is a hybrid drivetrain... meaning a hybrid but not the traditional electric-hybrids that are oh-so-in-vogue right now. a hydraulic hybrid drivetrain combined with a nice modern diesel engine sounds like a real nice vehicle to me. but then i'm one of those secret diesel lovers. but then apparently so is the EPA as they are doing a TON of research involving in-cylinder particulate reduction in diesels as well as improved exhaust filtration.

so in conclusion... i heart the EPA. i hate CARB.
